Wild Hogs
Disney has made it a recent habit to scrap productions that, well, don't just feel right. An assumption, but any project that looks like too big of a headache in the short run has been getting the boot by the studio. And let me tell you, nothing is safe. Though Wild Hogs became a surprise hit at the theaters, Touchstone has pulled out of Wild Hogs 2: Bachelor Ride.
Wild Hogs Sequel No More
But why? Well, they had a script by Brad Copeland, but it must not have been good enough; new writers were in the process of being hired. Both Disney and Touchstone are trying to re-amp, or should I say re-stamp, their image, so that could of had something to do with it also.
Another factor could have been Old Dogs. Starring John Travolta and John Williams, this time cute adult humor could not win critics nor moviegoers over. The film flopped at the box office.
