Clash of the Titans
Warner Bros. might have released not one but two impressive trailers for Clash of the Titans, but that doesn't mean the film is close to finished. We're not just talking visual effects either, as Warner Bros. has agreed to increase the film's budget and allow for more filming. The film is due out in March, and the additional scenes will begin shooting this January. Cutting it close? I think so!
Clash of the Titans Shooting More
The LA Times caught up with Avatar star Sam Worthington, who also stars in Clash of the Titans, and learned direct from the actor that shooting in January is most certainly taking place. But, according to Worthington, the new shoots and re-shoots were expected.
"We're going to be going back and shooting more scenes for it, they cut loose with some money so we can add to it," said Worthington.
Worthington went on: "We're going to be shooting more scenes in January, so we're going to be right up against it -- the movie comes out in March."
"There were some creaky parts but they are the parts that we knew were creaky and that we knew were going to be creaky going into it. The studio is also letting us add some gods and scenes. And they're talking about making the movie a 3D film."
Can you make a film 3D after the fact? Maybe, but I can't imagine it being all that good.
Clash of the Titans opens to theaters March 26th, 2010.
