It takes highly trained thespians to make Bitch Slap. Julliard trained America Olivo plays the high strung Camaro, tweaking out as her hot cohorts Hel and Trixie look for a stash of diamonds in the desert. In classic B movie tradition, they get scantilier clad and fight it out in the sand.
Olivo Takes a Bitch Slap
A typical day on the slopes turns into a chilling nightmare for three snowboarders when they get stranded on the chairlift before their last run. As the ski patrol switches off the night lights, they realize with growing panic that they've been left behind dangling high off the ground with no way down.
With the resort closed until the following weekend and frostbite and hypothermia already setting in, the trio is forced to take desperate measures to escape off the mountain before they freeze to death. Once they make their move, they discover with horror that they have much more to fear than just the frigid cold. As they combat unexpected obstacles, they start to question if their will to survive is strong enough to overcome the worst ways to die?
Bitch Slap
“I went to Julliard and Julliard does not have a class that remotely teaches you at all how to do anything that I had to do in Bitch Slap,” Olivo said. “Yes, if Julliard is listening, put it in the curriculum. For me, the fight scenes were pretty intense. Mainly also I had this body cast made of my torso.”
Camaro’s tantalizing wardrobe includes a tied off shirt and bare midriff, which unfortunately meant body casting. “Silly, in the beginning I decided to tie up my shirt and expose my midriff, forgetting that there is this scene at some point where I needed my torso cast. I got put in this really insane tight corset and I passed out. I was completely out of it. I barely made it back to the trailer, just freaked out. So heaving, heaving and going through this just oer the top scene, fight scenes, breathing in that tar of air. So that was really challenging.”
