Kevin Spacey is mixing things up by agreeing to star in the Chinese film, Inseparable, making him the highest-profile Hollywood actor to ever star in a Chinese production. I don't know about you, but that sounds like bit of a compliment!

Kevin Spacey for Inseparable

Directed by Dayyan Eng, Inseparable will be shot in Mandarin and English and will center on a young man (Daniel Wu) with problems at home and work who is befriended by a mysterious American expat (Spacey). Beibi Gong also stars as the investigative-reporter wife of Wu's character.

Eng also wrote the black comedy.

Spacey's casting couldn't have come a moment too soon, as production on Inseparable is expected to being by the end of this month in China. With China's film market rapidly expanding, like the rest of the country, Spacey's casting could be the beginning of a new movement.
