Daniel Craig
If by chance you weren't taking the adaptation of Cowboys and Aliens seriously, you might change your tune after hearing who DreamWorks is in negotiations with.
Daniel Craig Talking Cowboys and Aliens
Okay yes, the project did have Robert Downey Jr., and seeing him bail on Cowboys and Aliens does hurt the film's validity a bit. But, bouncing back, Jon Favreau is handling talks with none other than Daniel Craig.
Craig has been offered the role of Jake Johnson in the pic, based on the 2006 graphic novel about a group of Apache Indians and Western settlers who resolve to patch up their differences when an alien spaceship crash-lands in their city. Favreau is directing off a script by Roberto Orci, Alex Kurtzman and Damon Lindelof.
With the production of James Bond currently on the fritz, it looks like Craig's schedule will be open for the adaptation.
