The Hobbit
A rumor hit the web over the past 48 hours claiming that Tobey Maguire had been cast to play Bilbo for The Hobbit. The rumor got some momentum with The Sun reporting the same thing -- and we all know how accurate they are -- but don't be fooled, as it's not true.

Doing some real investigating, Harry over at AICN wrote in to Peter Jackson and Guillermo Del Toro and has been told from both those official sources that Tobey, or should I say "Toby," is not being considered for the part. Jackson also made sure to note that an official casting announcement is likely two months out, so chill out.
