Clash of the Titans Clash of the Titans

20th Century Fox plus Sam Worthington plus James Cameron plus 3D is close to equaling two-billion dollars. Warner Bros is hoping that having Sam Worthington plus 3D could yield a similar sum for Clash of the Titans. Contemplating releasing the fantasy actioner in 3D, the studio has given themselves ten days to decide.

Clash of the Titans Going 3D... Possibly

Let the countdown begin. Within ten days we will learn whether or not Warner Bros. wants to take Clash of the Titans to the next dimension. So what are they waiting on? The studio has ordered a 3D test of the film just two months before its theatrical release after seeing all the love Avatar is getting. The only catch is that Clash of the Titans was not shot in 3D like Avatar was, but 3D conversions are the new rage.

If Warner Bros. does decide to release Titans in 3D, expect this to be the beginning of a new trend of converting all to most big budget films to 3D; and some classics.

Clash of the Titans opens to theaters March 26th, 2010.
