The Hurt Locker
The Hurt Locker may have taken a small hit at the Golden Globes, the film is keeping Oscar momentum going by earning Best Feature at the PGA Awards.
The Hurt Locker Takes PGA Award
Up against nine other films that included An Education, Avatar, District 9, Inglourious Basterds, Invictus, Precious, Star Trek, Up and Up in the Air, The Hurt Locker came out on top for the Darryl F. Zanuck award Sunday night at the conclusion of the PGA's ceremonies.
Though The Hurt Locker was taken down by the box office monster known as Avatar at the Golden Globes, having a PGA statue on the mantle could turn out being more important. In the past twenty years, thirteen of the PGA winners for Best Feature went on to win Best Picture at the Academy Awards. So, odds could be back in director Kathyrn Bigelow's favor. Even better, it looks like this years Academy Awards ceremony is bound to have some surprises and excitement.
