Enchanted
Alright, I'll admit it. I greatly enjoyed Enchanted. James Marsden's goofy prince and Amy Adams conviction to her character had me sold on the movie. The little Disney quips were nice too.
Since that film took the top spot at the box office on repeat occasions, Disney is hoping to strike (box office) gold again with a sequel.
Enchanted Sequel Coming
Disney has hired Jessie Nelson to pen a script for the sequel that Anne Fletcher will direct. Disney doesn't have all their ducks in a row just yet, but they are hoping to get all the original castmembers back. Are they hoping for Susan Sarandon too? Considering that we watched her demise I'd think that her return would be unlikely. But, then again, Disney is magical like that.
The word fasttracked is not being used, but the Mouse House is hoping to have the sequel in theaters by next year. Considering that the first installment took years, the goal seems a bit farfetched.
