20th Century Fox has picked up McG to direct This Means War and they've already enlisted two solid names to lead it.
Reese Witherspoon and Bradley Cooper for This Means War
Reese Witherspoon and Bradley Cooper have been cast for This Means War, meaning the story is short one other male lead. Written by Timothy Dowling, the film tells the tale of best friends who are also spies and fall in love with the same woman (Witherspoon). The men's bond disintegrates, and their ensuing battle escalates.
If the film sounds familiar, it's because Fox picked up the pitch way back in 1998. A few directors have been attached to the project, including Gore Verbinski, as well as lead cast including Martin Lawrence.
