Every time I think of Penelope Cruz I am reminded about how much I adore her role in Vanilla Sky. Which makes me think that maybe she's planning on bringing a bit of her bubbly character over to the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. Don't believe? Well both her and Disney are considering it.
Penelope Cruz in Talks for Pirates of the Caribbean
Penelope Cruz is currently in negotiations with Disney to star opposite Johnny Depp in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. The installment is expected to begin shooting this summer in Hawaii. Rob Marshall will direct off a script by Terry Rossio and Ted Elliott.
So far all the plot elements are being kept under wraps, though it is assumed that the film will have something to do with the hunt for the Fountain of Youth.
