It's been years but they've kept in touch. After working together on the short-lived but critically acclaimed high school series "Freaks and Geeks." Judd Apatow and Paul Feig are getting back together to work on an untitled Universal Pictures comedy starring Kristen Wiig.
Apatow and Feig to Make Wiig Comedy
Feig will direct the comedy off a script by Wiig and writing partner Annie Mumolo. Apatow is on board to produce.
Studio, which is fast-tracking the project for a possible spring start, is keeping the logline under wraps, but it is described as revolving around women competing to plan a friend's wedding party.
Wiig has continuously made appearances in a number of films and can next be seen in both MacGruber and Date Night.
