Jonah Hill
Universal and Columbia Pictures have had a good run with Jonah Hill, and now 20th Century Fox is taking a crack at him with The Sitter.
Jonah Hill for The Sitter
Fox has cast Jonah Hill to star in The Sitter, a comedy that harkens to 1987's Adventures in Babysitting. Film follows a college student, suspended for the semester and living at home with his single mom, who has a night to remember when he gets talked into baby-sitting the eccentric kids next door: two boys and a wild 8-year-old girl.
Fox is hoping to convince David Gordon Green to direct and they are working quick, as this same project has failed to get off the ground repeatedly before. Jonathan Levine was once attached to direct while the film was at Atomic, and Zac Efron and Zach Galifianakis have circled it. If all goes to plan, Fox will have the film in production by fall.
