Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter
While I'm sure plenty of you have heard of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, another reimagining from author Seth Grahame-Smith is Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter will be making its way to the silverscreen. Yes, similar twist, but new center of topic (and character).
Burton and Bekmambetov Behind Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter
What makes the production force behind Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter entirely legit from the get-go is the mention of names Tim Burton and Timur Bekmambetov. The duo will produce the project, but I can only wonder if either one will get charmed into directing.
The history-horror hybrid book, which details the Great Emancipator's secret battle with the undead, hit shelves today. Story portrays the 16th president as an ax-throwing, highly trained vampire assassin.
Timur Bekmambetov, who you might know for having directed Wanted, has collaborated with Burton once before for the CG animation 9.
