Will Smith continues to bring audiences to the theaters, making him still one of the most demanded actors around. Henceforth it comes as no surprise that Sony wants him for Men in Black III while 20th Century Fox is pitching him The City That Sailed.

I for one am hoping he goes City, considering I hate seeing a franchise get played out beyond repair; Men in Black II wasn't good, nuff said. But let's see the options.
Penned by Andrew Niccol, City that Sailed revolves around a New York street magician who is unhappily separated from his young daughter. The girl, who moves to London, finds magic candles that make her wishes comes true, with unintended consequences: The island of Manhattan separates from the continent and floats toward England, bringing her dad ever closer.
Cute, and I'm sure Smith could carry it, but let's look at the option that could chock up more laughs.
On the other side is Men in Black III, which has proven itself as a strong franchise. Now if Sony can only bring the story back on track we might have something. I'm not confident, but maybe...
