We saw Anton Yelchin in two tentpoles last year, making one wonder what next the up and comer has in store for us. Showing a niche for re-launching franchises, DreamWorks is hoping that Yelchin would star in the redo of the cult horror pic Fright Night.
Anton Yelchin in Talks for Fright Night
If all goes to plan, Yelchin will play the role of Charley Brewster, a teen who discovers that his neighbor is a vampire. Gillespie will direct from an adapted script by Marti Noxon. The original Fright Night was released in 1985.
Yelchin will next be seen opposite Jodie Foster and Mel Gibson in dramedy The Beaver, which Foster directed.
