Since Jamie Foxx has played just about every type of character, I guess the only thing left was an animated role. Switching things up, Jamie Foxx has joined up with 20th Century Fox to make Welcome to the Jungle, based on an original pitch by Foxx and scribe Malcolm Spellman.

Though the animation's storyline is being kept under tight wraps, Foxx and company were willing to give a hint: "Life is a jungle and welcome to it." Foxx, who is a terrific entertainer, will use an array of his talents for the part.
"I'm psyched about Welcome to the Jungle because it's specifically built to utilize Jamie's talent with voices and as a musician," Spellman said.
Jamie Foxx is currently working opposite Bruce Willis on the video game adaptation of Kane & Lynch.
