The cast of Butter continues to grow with the addition of Hugh Jackman and Alicia Silverstone. The Weinstein Company is making good time, as the comedy is set to being production in the next couple weeks.
Hugh Jackman and Alicia Silverstone for Butter
Directed by Jim Field Smith off a script by Jason Micallef, Butter stars Jennifer Garner as an ambitious Midwestern woman trying to win a local butter-carving contest.
Jackman portrays an old flame of Garner's character, while Silverstone will play the adoptive mother of a teen girl who becomes a major contender in the butter-carving competition.
Yara Shahidi and Ashley Greene have also been cast.
