Wow, Homework is becoming quite the teenie-bopper of sorts. Or maybe a teenie-bopper reunion; hard to say. The film already had Alicia Silverstone, Elizabeth Reaser, Blair Underwood, Michael Angarano and Rita Wilson, which gets us close to bopper status, but now throw in Emma Roberts and Freddie Highmore. Bopper!
Emma Roberts and Freddie Highmore Join Homework
Directed by Gavin Wiesen off a script he wrote, Homework is about a homework-averse high school student (Highmore) who strikes up an unexpected friendship with the girl he's loved from a distance (Roberts). Michael Angarano is cast as a graduate of the high school, while Wilson and Sam Robards play the mother and stepfather, respectively, of Highmore's character.
The casting hasn't come a moment too soon, as Homework is anticipated to wrap this week.
