I think Kevin James is ready for a serious drama. Maybe even a dark thriller. But it's not up to me, as Kevin is playing it safe by sticking to action comedy with the help of Columbia Pictures.
Kevin James for Here Comes the Boom
Kevin James will star in and produce the action comedy Here Comes the Boom with Salma Hayek is supposedly in negotiations to play the female lead.
Plot details for Boom are being kept under wraps, but James penned the script with Rock Reuben. The film will be James' third high-profile comedy at Columbia Pictures after Paul Blart: Mall Cop exceeded expectations (by far) by taking in $146 million.
