Lakeshore Entertainment must have a thing for Katherine Heigl, as they have once again picked her up for a starring role. This time the actress will enjoy some immortality in The Age of Adaline.

Written by scribes Mills Goodloe and Sal Pascowitz, The Age of Adaline centers on a young woman, born at the turn of 20th century, who is rendered ageless after an accident. After years of a solitary life, she meets a man who might be worth losing her immortality for.
Lakeshore plans to have the film in production by October, but there are a few more hurdles to get by; including finding a director and the male lead.
Lakeshore's Tom Rosenberg had this to say: "We're moving very quickly on this one. We hope to have all the pieces in place in a short time."
