Cary Elwes has been picked up by Paramount to star in an untitled Ivan Reitman comedy where he'll star opposite Ashton Kutcher and Natalie Portman. An interesting mix, I know.
Cary Elwes for Reitman Comedy
The project, previously titled Friends With Benefits, centers on the question of whether two longterm friends can have a purely sexual relationship without falling in love. Elwes will play a physician who works with Portman's character and develops a flirtatious relationship.
Reitman will direct the comedy off a script by Elizabeth Meriwether.
Though the film is going under a name change, Paramount still plans on having it in theaters by January 7th.
