Paul Rudd has been cast for, you guessed it, another comedy. This time there does seem to be a bit of a family/drama element, with Rudd being cast as the idiot brother in My Idiot Brother.

Directed by Jesse Peretz off a script by his sister, Evgenia Peretz, and David Schisgall, My Idiot Brother centers on an idealist (Rudd) dealing with his overbearing mother who crashes into the homes of his three ambitious sisters and, in succession, brings truth, happiness and a sunny disposition into their lives while also wreaking havoc. None of the sisters have been cast, but those roles should be filled shortly.
"Everyone on Earth who has a brother has an idiot brother," Indie producer Anthony Bregman said. "I come from a family of three brothers, so I know that better than anyone. And what could beat the prospect of working with Jesse and Paul, who are like brothers to each other to bring that message out into the world?"
Since I have only one brother, I will consider that fact debatable.
