According to LatinoReview, it looks like Warner Bros. is behind the R-rated short Mortal Kombat Rebirth, which was created to see if there was still a market for a possible feature Mortal Kombat film that was hard-R. Based on the response to this video, I'd say yes. But do not take it from me, and just skip the nonsense by watching Mortal Kombat Rebirth.
