Danny McBride
I have a buddy who's been trying to write for Hollywood for some time and my number one piece of advice I gave to him was to shy away from full scripts and focus on original pitches. You know. About ten pages max that introduce the plot, the characters and all the meat. Then let the studio that purchases the idea handle the writing team. So is the case for Bullies, and idea that Mandate Pictures has purchased from Danny McBride.
Danny McBride's Bullies
Mandate Pictures has hired scribes Andrew Mogel and Jarrad Paul to write the screenplay for Bullies, which will also be produced by McBride, David Gordon Green, Jody Hill and Matt Reilly through their Rough House banner.
Comedy revolves around two brothers who have bullied people their whole life and finally get what is coming to them.
Will MclBride have a role in the movie? Hard to say, but my assumption would be yes.
