Zac Efron
Zac Efron has been on a bit of a role, and just to ensure he has some gigs after making audiences shed tears in Charlie St. Cloud, the actor is in talks to possibly star in Warner Bros' adaptation of The Lucky One.

Author Nicholas Sparks is also doing well, having seen just about all his novels find a home at some studio or other. The latest, The Lucky One, will be directed by Scott Hicks off a script by Will Fetters.
The Lucky One revolves around a Marine who survives three tours in Iraq and attributes his good fortune to a photograph he carried of a woman he has never met. He sets out to meet her when he returns to North Carolina.
Though Efron also has a producing deal with Warner Bros, has yet to commit in any manner to this project.
