Isaiah Mustafa
When Isaiah Mustafa announced that he was retiring as the "Old Spice Guy" I couldn't help but be disappointed. Though I'd still probably never use Old Spice, or what I like to call "rash in a can," the commercial and internet virals were incredibly well done. So, he ends one career by doing what I think he called a "silver fish hand catch," and is starting another by joining the cast of Horrible Bosses.
Isaiah Mustafa for Horrible Bosses
The Hollywood Reporter caught up to Isaiah Mustafa about his career blowing up after finding viral success with the Old Spice ad campaign(s). While talking about the recent success, Mustafa admitted that he has been cast in Horrible Bosses, where he will star next to Jennifer Aniston and Jason Bateman. The football player turned actor had this to say about the film.
Mustafa: It's a smaller role, but who wouldn't want to be in one of these funny, irreverent comedies? The cast is great. I'm playing a cop because I play these authoritative characters well. I don't know exactly who I'm in the scene with -- maybe Jennifer Aniston!
Can't wait until Horrible Bosses? Well, it turns out that Mustafa can also be seen in a cameo role in the NBC series Chuck.
