The Expendables Poster
The Expendables continues to find an audience by once again topping out the weekend, which was awfully crowded mind you, during its second frame.
Box Office Champ: The Expendables
Though facing new competition, The Expendables was able to fight its way out with $16.5 million, a number that was big enough (though small looking) to take the top spot at the box office.
When it comes to the best of the new releases, some of the Twilight carry-over made its way to Vampires Suck, which did surprisingly well with $12.2 million.
The rest of the pack fell in line with Eat, Pray, Love holding at $12 million and Lottery Ticket following just behind with $11.1 million. Though the overall box office take felt tiny this weekend, it was still only 4% down from the same frame last year. So I guess not so bad after all.
