What happened to Natalie Portman? After wowing audiences and critics with Black Swan, it turns out that the actress passed on Gravity, a title role that was handed to her. With a project that is desperately looking for a leading lady, Warner Bros and Alfonso Cuaron have turned to Sandra Bullock.
Sandra Bullock in Talks for Gravity
Warner Bros. is currently in talks with Sandra Bullock to play the title role in Gravity, where she'll star opposite Robert Downey Jr.Directed by Alfonso Cuaron off a script he wrote, Gravity revolves around two astronauts fighting to survive on a remote space station after satellite debris wipes out the rest of the crew and destroys most of the station.
Bullock is the third actress seriously courted by Warner Bros after Angelina Jolie -- who is busy on a Salt sequel -- and Portman.
