Quick update coming your way for The Hobbit. With the production now getting some momentum, Jackson has now revealed his official cast.
Freeman is Bilbo in The Hobbit
As rumored, Martin Freeman landed the title role of Bilbo Baggins. If you've never heard of the actor, let me try to refresh your memory. He was the star of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and one of the love stories showcased in Love Actually. Help? Well, there are some pictures on the page I'm about to point to. But, before I do, let me point out that you should not recognize most of the cast.
Is that a problem? Not at all, as Lord of the Rings had just as many unfamiliars and the casting worked out great. To see all the additions, take a trip over to AICN, who has a great report.
