Indiana Jones
After giving us a year-plus of jibber jabber, George
Lucas has confirmed (and I guess promised) that Indiana
Jones 4 will begin filming in 2007. Empty words, I know, but Lucas has
even taken the extra step by announcing that we can expect the fourth installment
in May, 2008.
Indy 4 Coming May 2008
After constant delays on the script for Indiana
Jones IV (though it did get the thumbs up on repeat occasions),
Lucas has announced that the script is now finalized... this time... maybe...
for sure. With a complete script comes the announcement that we can expect
the film in theatres some time during May 2008.
"It's going to be fantastic. It's going to be the best one yet... I
think it's going to be really cool."
Just in case you had any doubt, Harrison Ford will
be returning to the franchise at an age older than Sean Connery in Indiana
Jones and the Last Crusade.
Unlike some franchises, there is no Indiana if there is no Ford.
"Mostly it's the charm of Harrison that makes it work."
There you have it, Indiana Jones IV opens to theatres in
May, 2008
