"Rabbit Hole", great name. A few years back I had hoped in starting a Hookah Bar with a buddy of mine and I was most impressed with this same title. And here it is again, but instead of a place where you can blow Os of your favorite fruity smoke, Fox Searchlight's Rabbit Hole is the bigscreen adaptation of David Lindsay-Abaire's Broadway play.
To give the film some talent, Nicole Kidman will star and produce.
Nicole Kidman for Rabbit Hole
Fox Searchlight has picked up Nicole Kidman to star in and produce Rabbit Hole.
Lindsay-Abaire has been given the task to adapt the play into a screenplay.
Rabbit Hole concerns a happily married couple whose lives are disrupted after an unexpected tragedy and the intensely emotional, redemptive journey they must undertake to regain happiness. So, no, Kidman is not boarding another fantasy after recently wrapping New Line's The Golden Compass; though the title would suggest that she is.
Kidman will produce under her Fox-based Blossom Films banner. Other films in development under Blossom's first-look deal with Fox include Jez Butterworth's Headhunters, Karen Lutz's Bachelorette Party and an untitled thriller written by Simon Kinberg.
Kidman can next be seen opposite Daniel Craig in Warner Bros.' The Invasion.
