I think I was one of the few out there who chuckled while watching Lucky Louie on HBO. Sure, the show may have been a little rough around the edges, but it was never given a chance to really find its groove. Just when the episodes were picking up, HBO was forced to stamp Louie with 'cancelled.'
Louis C.K. is bouncing back and sticking with HBO. Coming our way in little under a week, the man who brought us Lucky Louie will show us just how Shameless he can really be.
Louis C.K. Gets Shameless for Stand-Up and HBO
Whether he’s writing, performing stand-up or headlining his own HBO comedy series, Louis C.K. has never been shy about speaking his mind. Now, the Emmy® winner stars in his first one-hour special where he does just that.
Fresh off his work on HBO’s first multi-camera comedy series Lucky Louie, in which he created and starred in, the brash comedian returns to his stand-up roots for an all-new show taped before a live audience at the Henry Fonda Theater in Los Angeles. Louis C.K. Shameless covers everyday subjects near and dear to his heart, tackling issues that others have been too ashamed to address in the past.

The stand-up will appear on Saturday, January 13th at 10PM on HBO.
