While most had expected the first news on Megatron would be a confirmation on who will voice the character -- currently under debate -- we have instead been alerted to the first CG rendering of the character.
Megatron Wants to Hug it Out
Fans of the Transformers series know that Megatron has the ability to transform himself into a gun that either he or others can fire. Even in robot form the leader of the Decepticons carries a shoulder mounted fusion cannon that is the equivalent to DOOM's BFG, which can (in short) raise hell.
The first image to appear for Megatron has appeared at tfw2005 and, instead of carrying his weapon, the Decepticon appears to be dancing or going in for a hug, your choice.

With all that curved metal one has to wonder how smooth Megatron's transformation is. Hate to see him pull something.
