Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer
If there is one thing for certain it is that Fantastic
Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer is going to be a lot better
than the first Fantastic
Four. Yes, I know the film did well at the box office, but
that didn't necessarily make it good. For me it felt more like Daredevil
but with more heroes. OK, OK, a little better than that, but you get what
I mean.
With the addition of Silver Surfer the franchise has grown in strength,
just as long as Tim Story can get it right (this time). Not wanting to f*@k
this one up, Story seeks advice from the fans.
Whose voice do you want to hear come out of Silver Surfer's mouth?
Tim Story Seeks Answers for Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver
Surfer
Tim Story has recently put up a new post on his
official blog over at MySpace:
Here I am guys. Been going strong editing for a couple weeks now (not
including the countless weeks doing it while I was shooting). Everything's
everything. Wish there was more to share but we're just into so much. Titles,
Vis effects, sound - all that. Got a lot to experiment with in regard to
sound - The Surfer, the Fantasticar, and...
Okay, so if it could be anyone - who would be the voice of the Surfer? And
don't be obvious. The person/voice can't be too recognizable or it will
take you out of the movie.
So I guess we should discount Clooney, Ian McKellen and Sean Bean. What
about Peter Cullen? Ha, imagine the confusion when Optimus Prime's voice
comes out of Silver Surfer. That, or viewers will think a movie trailer
is booting up.
Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer opens to theatres
on June 15th, 2007.
