At the end of last week we received a ton of copies of the Venom toy to be released in anticipation of Spider-Man 3. We didn't know what to make of it then, but the image has lasted long enough online to at least call it a first-look at the item soon to be available from Sideshow Collectibles.

Just in case you are one of the few who have no idea what Venom is going to look like, the first image of the upcoming Medicom Toy from Sideshow Collectibles (
) for Spider-Man 3 should give you a pretty good idea.
Since Venom has only recently appeared thanks to a poor quality flash video of the Comic-Con teaser, consider this a weak introduction to the character.
