Smokin' Aces
Here is a brief update for all of you anxiously awaiting the release of Smokin' Aces -- coming our way in a couple weeks.
Director Joe Carnahan has been busy collecting fan posters for the film (while reading the first reviews to appear) and now has a large enough collection -- sixty in fact -- to begin posting his favorites online.
Smokin' Aces Gets Fanned with Posters
Carnahan has announced that he will begin posting fan posters for Smokin' Aces beginning today at his official blog SmokinJoeCarnahan with one featuring Jeremy Piven already up. To be honest, I am not impressed with this first poster and can only hope that the first picked doesn't mean its the best.
I had considered making a poster of my own -- hell, I already made a video of my own for the Machinima contest -- but figured that I would have wasted too many hours trying to be creative; I originally planned some sort of psychedelic collage.
I know, fan posters are not all that exciting. But it is the holiday, so there you go.
Smokin' Aces opens on January 26th.
