In anticipation of the release of The Hitcher coming our way this weekend, Rogue Pictures has sent over our first collection of clips.
Movie Clips: The Hitcher
From filmmaker Michael Bay's Platinum Dunes production company (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Amityville Horror) comes a remake of the 1986 terror classic. Dave Meyers is directing the new film, which tracks the terrifying cross-country trajectory of Grace (Sophia Bush) and Jim (Zachary Knighton), two traveling college students who are tormented by the mysterious hitchhiker John Ryder, a.k.a. The Hitcher (Sean Bean).
It turns out that Sean Bean can play one hell of a son of a bitch. The recent clips for The Hitcher do two things: further convince us that Sophia Bush is hot, which is nice; and show off how talented Sean Bean really is.
I'm sorry, when some guy hints that you can't trust him and then goes on to break your phone, that's when you just lock up the brakes and see what happens. That or collide with a tree on the passenger's side. Not cry like a bitch. Well, maybe cry like a bitch too...
