You can adapt just about anything nowadays. Take for instance The Mutant Chronicles. Based off a popular role-playing board game, the film should become a highly anticipated sci-fi action thriller in 2008. To help warm things up, the film's first artwork has appeared online.

Starring Thomas Jane, Ron Perlman, John Malkovich and Devon Aoki, The Mutant Chronicles tells the story of a decimated Earth that comes under the attack of "NecroMutants" who go to war with humans over the little resources the planet has left. Thomas Jane was one of the first cast in the film and he will play a marine given the task of fighting off the invaders.
The good people over AICN have recently put up the first artwork for the film and it definitely sends the message. Halo fans might just get something to barter their time until the release of the popular Xbox game to film.
The Mutant Chronicles
As you can tell from the artwork, The Mutant Chronicles is due out in 2008. Simon Hunter is currently in post-production on the project.
