Tara Reid, who we have watched go from hottie in 1999 with American Pie to frumpy with Wild on Tara is looking to get involved with yet another indie project. Instead of a thriller, however, this time she will try her hand at something a little more familiar -- romantic comedy.
Tara Reid Says, Honestly
Tara Reid is attached to star in and executive produce the indie romantic comedy Honestly. She will co-star in the film with Vinnie Jones (Snatch) and NFL running back Eddie George, who enjoyed a nice stint with Steven Seagal in Into the Sun.
Penned by Tom Vaughan, Honestly centers on Monica Hennessey, a hard-boiled private eye who works as a temptress to test the fidelity of philandering husbands. Then she meets her ultimate job challenge: Instead of entrapping her latest prey, she falls for a man who couldn't possibly be as nice as he seems.
Tara's brother, Tommy Reid, is set to direct. He recently directed her in the upcoming bowling comedy 7-10 Split.
The film is scheduled to start shooting this summer in Los Angeles.
