After hearing rumors on the subject for some time, it has recently been confirmed that the sequel for The Lost Boys is scheduled to enter production this year. But will it be any good? Eh, probably not.
The Lost Boys To Return... And Surf
What do you get when you have a direct to video movie revolving around the story of surfing vampires in Southern California? That's right, a crap movie.
The good people over at IESB recently confirmed that a sequel to The Lost Boys will begin shooting sometime in the first quarter of 2007 in San Diego. Warner Bros has absolutely no theatrical release plans at this time.
The sequel will come twenty years after the original film's release in 1987 -- I was only six. The original told the story of a group of kids in Santa Clara, CA who must take on a group of teenage vampires working under a hidden leader. Joel Schumacher directed.
