Chalk up a bit of female company for Tony Stark. Paramount Pictures has announced that they have their Virginia "Pepper" Potts for Iron Man.
Stark Uses Protection with Gwyneth Paltrow
Paramount Pictures has picked up Gwyneth Paltrow to join Robert Downey Jr. and Terrence Howard in Iron Man as the character Virginia "Pepper" Potts.
Directed by Jon Favreau, Iron Man will tell the story of an industrialist, Tony Stark, who builds an armored suit to take on bad guys. Virginia Potts is Starks 'personal' assistant who he later reveals his identity to; he also reveals a little something else if you know what I mean.
"These are popcorn films designed for broad audiences, but there are multidimensional characters that have brought us the best luck with actors," Marvel Studios president of production Kevin Feige said.
Iron Man's ginormous budget will be covered thanks to an arrangement between Marvel and Merrilll Lynch.
