Jennifer Garner will put the wedding ring back in the box and lay down her sai to star in the upcoming coming-of-age comedy Juno.
Garner, Page, Reitman for Juno
Though Garner is on the top of the call sheet, she does have some impressive support. Ellen Page and Jason Reitman will also co-star in the film. Ellen Page proved her ability as a young actress in both X-Men 3 and Hard Candy. The latter is the reason why I typically try to say 100 yards from local High Schools.
Jason Reitman's filmography isn't as developed, but he did help make Thank You for Smoking one of the most charming films of 2005/2006.
Based off a script from Diablo Cody, Juno will revolve around a teenager faced with an unplanned pregnancy. Garner will play the hopeful adoptive mother while Ellen Page (assuming here) will play the teenage. Though Page will be twenty this year, she still has the looks to play a twelve year old if she wanted.
Jennifer Garner can next be seen in Sony's Catch and Release and in Universal's The Kingdom.
Juno will enter production mid-February in Vancouver.
