Will Smith
Can't stop the momentum when you're hot. Will Smith and James Lassiter's production banner, Overbrook Entertainment, continues to pick up projects after finding extended success with Smith's own Pursuit of Happyness.
Smith and Lassiter's Overbrook Gets Le Voyeur
Overbrook Entertainment is responsible for films such as Happyness, Hitch and ATL. The production company has a couple new projects coming our way including Tonight, He Comes and now Le Voyeur; both with Columbia Pictures.
Penned by Massy Tadjedin, Le Voyeur centers on a man who returns to the Caribbean island of his youth and becomes a suspect in the murder of a teenage girl that was committed two days after his arrival.
The project was originally set up at Universal with Kevin Misher and Akiva Goldsman set to produce. After sitting around indefinitely, the studio dropped it.
Le Voyeur is based on the 1955 French novel by Alain Robbe-Grillet.
