Jessica Alba
After agreeing to star in the English remake of the Hong Kong thriller, The Eye, back in July, Jessica Alba has been sitting around on her perfectly formed ass waiting on additional cast. OK, OK, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer does have her busy, I just wanted to point out her "perfectly formed ass."
The momentum is shifting, however, with the addition of Grace is Gone's Alessandro Nivola and Parker Posey, who have both been selected to star opposite Alba.
Alessandro Nivola, Parker Posey for The Eye
Cruise/Wagenr Prods. will produce The Eye for Lionsgate, based off of the successfull Hong Kong thriller.
The Eye tells the story of a cornea transplant recipient who sees disturbing images in the mirror that send her on a quest to find out what happened to the eye's previous owner. The original was made in Hong Kong by Thai directing brothers Danny and Oxide Pang. The remake will be directed by French helmers David Moreau and Xavier Palud.
Tom Cruise and Paula Wagner first attempted to have the remake created over at Paramount back in 2002 but the project lost steam when Renee Zellweger dropped out of the lead role.
Nivola has got a ton of projects coming our way including Goal II: Living the Dream, The Girl in the Park and Ridley Scott's miniseries The Company.
We last saw Posey tricking Superman in Superman Returns and she will next appear in the indie title Broken English.
