Having recently wrapped The Darjeeling Limited and Manolete, Adrian Brody has joined the cast of Endgame Entertainment's The Brothers Gloom. He will be bringing the once-horny Rinkno Kikuchi with him.
Brody, Kikuchi for The Brothers Gloom
Adrien Brody and Rinko Kikuchi have been picked up to co-star with Rachel Weisz in The Brothers Gloom, a film written and directed by Rian Johnson.
Brody will portray the younger brother in a conman team who falls for a mysterious target, played by Weisz. Unlike her last film, Kikuchi will not be on a quest for whoopee and will instead play brothers' partner in crime who may be hiding secrets of her own.
Many of you should remember Kukuchi from Babel, a role that earned her a supporting actress nomination for this year's Academy Awards.
Endgame will finance and produce the film with Ram Berman. The Weinstein Company will handle international distribution.
