Pulse
Though our own Pulse wasn't up to Japan's Kairo, Moviehole reports that producer Joel Soisson feels like a few Bell-less sequels are in order. And, just for good measure, why not straight-to-video?
Pulse Sequels Coming Straight Home
The ‘Veronica Mars’ spunk probably (she’s yet to say yay or nay to the idea) won’t be returning for the two planned sequels to Pulse– the American remake of the Japanese frightfest Kairo; released last year – and neither will manly co-star Ian Somheralder, but that’s not stopping the evils of a 19 inch LCD monitor from returning for more murder and mayhem. Zap, Zap, Zap..... Aaaaaaah!
In addition to the two Feast sequels he’s working on with writers Marcus Dunstan and Patrick Melton (and possibly, director John Gulager), we hear horror producer Joel Soisson is also pushing the buttons on two straight-to-video sequels to the moderately successful (it recouped a little more than its $20 million dollar budget) teen horror outing.
The original Pulse revolves around ghosts who find a way to break into our world through our very own technology. A cell phone or email could serve as a doorway to some ghastly ghoul looking to recover what it lost, you life.
