Although she won’t be scantily clad in some racy swimwear, we still love to see Kate Beckinsale grace the screen. She has signed on to star in the action thriller, Whiteout as a U.S. Marshall investigating a murder on Antarctica, 3 days before the continent is entering winter and therefore, being left in total darkness with the killer.

The story is based on the comic book miniseries by the same title written by Greg Rucka. The film will be produced by Dark Castle Entertainment where Joel Silver is now the alpha and the omega. He’s what P. Diddy is to Bad Boy entertainment. He does what he wants to do and he can greenlight whatever he chooses, even if it’s on par with “Making the Band”.
Filming is to begin on March 5th in Montreal for all you nut jobs out there wondering where Kate Beckinsale will be on March 5th…see you in Canada!
