The two skinniest people in Hollywood are about to team for an untitled camping comedy.
Rock, Spade for Untitled Comedy
David Spade is currently writing a script with scribe Fred Wolf to serve as a starring vehicle for both him and Chris Rock. Very little is still known about the project, but it will cover a turf battle between three families who vie for the same camping spot in a public park over a weekend.
Have we had a good comedy that involved camping since The Great Outdoors? Wait a sec, that film isn't even about camping. Have we ever had a camping comedy? Wait, I remember, Without a Paddle.
Adam Sandler's Happy Madison will produce.
Spade and Wolf previously co-wrote the films Joe Dirt and Dickie Roberts. Wolf and Spade have known each other ever since SNL - both individuals original stomping grounds. Wolf worked as head writer.
David Spade now stars in the television series Rules of Engagement.
