Leia: "Would it help if I got out and pushed?"
Han: "It might."
Example 3-
Yoda: "Try not. Do... or do not. There is no try."
Just a few of the more-brilliant Star Wars lines to appear in the entire six-film franchise. I recently watched The Empires Strikes Back in HD on HBO and I was reminded how this film set the standard in the entire franchise; a standard that Revenge of the Sith was able to come semi-close to.
Though most agree that Empire's natural dialogue has helped make it the best in the franchise, George Lucas agrees to disagree.
Lucas Thinks Empire the Worst
According to David Poland, reprinted at Cinematical, George Lucas gave Sid Ganis all the credit for making The Empire Strikes Back the best film for the fans, though he sees it as the worst.
"George Lucas, giving the award to Sid Ganis, who was the in-house publicist on Star Wars: Episode Five - The Empire Strikes Back, said, 'Sid is the reason why The Empire Strikes Back is always written about as the best of the films, when it actually was the worst one.'"
Worst one? Was that your inspiration for making Phantom Menace so great? Not even Ewan McGregor and Liam Neeson could look natural with the dialogue provided. Sorry, getting defensive.
